1-Step assembly compare + sectioning + measurement: KISTERS 3DViewStation V12.02

Aachen, 2013/08/01: KISTERS has announced the release 12.02 of the 3DViewStation. The KISTERS 3DViewStation is known for the modern user-interface, high performance 3D-viewing, current and mature CAD-importers plus a reasonable set of functional tools to view, analyze and communicate 3D-data.

3DViewStation V12.02 ships with a fresh Office 2010 compliant user interface and provides functionality, which can be leveraged by the user quite intuitively. The focus of the latest developments has been set to management assembly comparison and analysis functionality.
3DViewStation now allows to use several analysis functions simultaneously:  during the comparison of two assemblies the user might start sectioning and perform some measurements of the differences at the same time without the need to create some temporary geometry. This is a great advantage over traditional tools, which do allow the usage of a single function at a time only. On request of customers many new measurement functions have been added to this release plus the calculation of the section surface and wires. Also, to complete the enhancements related to PMIs there is now support for PMI-billboards and a filtering possibility by PMI-type.

Other news include support for Catia V5 R32 and Inventor 2014. The license manager is now available for not only for Windows 32-/64-bit but Linux 64-bit also.
